Does the devil want to steal your health? How about your prosperity and provision? Does the devil want to steal your joy and peace? The devil is more interested in stealing your faith in God, than he is in anything else. The devil targets your health, financial prosperity, peace of mind, healthy relationships, etc. not as an end in and of themselves. He is really after your faith in God.  That’s why you are instructed in Scripture to “fight the good fight of faith” – 1 Timothy 6:12. The battles you face are about Who and What you will believe.
The devil knows, more than some Christians know, that faith is the bridge that all of God’s blessings, provisions and activities on earth are transferred from His realm to this physical natural realm. As long as you stay in faith, you are winning. What you begin in faith must continue in faith until the desired results are produced. Don’t allow the enemy to steal your faith.
Jesus is the one who authored and birthed faith within you (see Hebrews 12:2). He is also the one who will lead you forward into faith’s victorious completion. However, if the enemy is unable to prevent the birth of faith in your heart, he will then attempt to stop your faith from working by being the end of your faith. He attempts this by having you focus your attention on the natural realm and on what hasn’t happened yet, instead of on Jesus and what he has promised or already provided for you in the realm of the Spirit.
From the beginning of time the devil tried to steal Adam and Eve’s faith in God, by attempting to lure them into unbelief in the goodness of God, “Did God really say?” – Genesis 3:1. He will attempt to use the same strategy against you. Don’t allow him to steal your faith in the goodness of God.
“Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” – Romans 10:17. Jesus also said that when the word comes, “right away Satan comes and steals the word that was planted in them.” – Mark 4:15. Why does he do this? Because if you believe the word and act on it, it will “produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted.” – Mark 4:20. Don’t allow the enemy to steal God’s word from you, and thus steal your faith!
It is the shield of faith that “stops all the fiery arrows of the devil” – Ephesians 6:16. Don’t drop your shield. Hang on to your faith in God and you will stop ALL the attacks of the devil. When you submit yourself to God and resist the devil, he will flee from you (See James 4:7)! Therefore,  “Stand firm against him, and be strong in your faith.” – 1 Peter 5:9.
Yes, the devil wants to steal your faith, but God is also after your faith. He is looking for those who will believe him to the end. Jesus asked, “But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” – Luke 18:8. Faith is what pleases God, for “… without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who passionately seek him.” – Hebrews 11:6.
Jesus said, “ “Anything is possible if a person believes.” – Mark 9:23. If the devil can steal your faith, he can limit the possibilities of God from coming to pass. The devil wants to shipwreck your faith. Therefore, when you are under pressure and your faith is being tested, endure and never give up.  Don’t allow the enemy to steal your faith!
“So don’t allow your hearts to grow dull or lose your enthusiasm, but follow the example of those who fully received what God has promised because of their strong faith and patient endurance.” – Hebrews 6:12 - By David Cannon
